About this product
Fiberglass adhesive mesh is the wider, heavier companion to joint tape. Coated with an alkali-resistant resin and supplied with an adhesive backing, it is rolled out across render, plaster or insulation boards before the finishing coat so that movement in the substrate is distributed across the mesh instead of opening into a crack.
The same material is used in external wall insulation systems, where the mesh is embedded in the base coat over insulation boards. We supply it in 91.4 cm wide rolls in the grammage specified by the system designer, with the adhesive backing matched to the substrate.
